During the weekend of the 15th and 16th of February 2025, the Lammertyn Lab opened its doors to the public as part of the KUL Inside event, a celebration of the 600th birthday of KU Leuven. They showcased their cutting-edge research in biosensors and microfluidics to more than 400 curious visitors.
Some highlights of what was shared:
- Their innovative microfluidic devices for life science research
- Groundbreaking biosensor technologies for medical diagnostics
- Exciting applications of lab-on-a-chip technology, including the (i)SIMPLE microfluidic patches developed in the context of the FORTIFIEDx project
- The biosensors art gallery exhibiting the beauty of micro- and nanotechnologies
