KUL Inside – 600 years KU Leuven

During the weekend of the 15th and 16th of February 2025, the Lammertyn Lab opened its doors to the public as part of the KUL Inside event, a celebration of the 600th birthday of KU Leuven. They showcased their cutting-edge research in biosensors and microfluidics to more than 400 curious visitors.

Some highlights of what was shared:

  • Their innovative microfluidic devices for life science research
  • Groundbreaking biosensor technologies for medical diagnostics
  • Exciting applications of lab-on-a-chip technology, including the (i)SIMPLE microfluidic patches developed in the context of the FORTIFIEDx project
  • The biosensors art gallery exhibiting the beauty of micro- and nanotechnologies
